About Me

Frederick Senya is a second year PhD Student in Mathematical Sciences (concentration in Applied Mathematics) at the University of Vermont advised by Dr. Daniel Bentil. He also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mathematics. He believes his colleagues would describe him as a very personable, and result-oriented gentleman. He is interested in the development and application of mathematical models to address problems.

Currently, He is focusing on research in the areas of Biomathematics and Biogeochemical modeling. His intent is to use ideas from Complex Systems and Data Science to augment his understanding of Biomathematical Modeling. He usually uses the following tools when coding: Python, MATLAB, R, Latex, Mathematica.

After the completion of his programme, he intends to pursue further research in Biomathematical and Industrial Modelling. It is his aim to also provide a special environment for the interaction of persons with varied scientific interests and backgrounds.

Research Interest

He is interested in Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Biomathematical Modeling, Multivariate Data Analysis and Data Science.
